Aromatherapy to Beat the Common Cold
By Tracey Mumford

Your waste basket is overflowing with tissues. No matter what you do, you can’t seem to stop sneezing. That sure is a bad cold, you got there! But instead of taking over-the-counter remedies which can make you feel drowsy (or like you’re in a different world!)–try aromatherapy.
It seems that almost everyone in the world has been either fighting a terrible cold or recovering from one over the last couple of weeks. Many of these recovered people used “an ace up their sleeve“ to beat their bug. The ace, of course, being essential oils.
How can you use essential oils to prevent or beat cold symptoms? Try these helpful tips:
1. Diffuse eucalyptus oil in your home to purify unclean air.
2. Take an essential oil bath once a week with the following aromatherapy recipe to keep you immune system up to par:
? 15 drops of Ravensara
? 8 drops of Rosemary
? 6 drops of Thyme Officinalis
Mix the combination into a 10ml bottle and add organic vegetable Vegetable Oil.
