Aromatherapy For Your Skin

There are a number of reasons why your skin might beg you to try Aromatherapy. Perhaps you have acne, eczema, oily or severely dry skin. The following list of essential oils can be employed to help you maintain healthy looking skin.
*It’s important to note that these essential oils should NEVER be applied directly to the skin. Essential oils are very potent and highly concentrated. Always use a wash basin (or sink) filled with water to dilute your essential oils. * General Skin Care:
Lavender, rose, rosemary camphor, cypress, geranium, chamomiles, rosewood, geranium essential oils and hydrosols Deep Cleansing:
Sweet Basil, juniper, lemon, lemongrass, Niaouli, peppermint Treat Acne:
Tea tree, Manuka, Helichrysum, lavender, spike lavender, thyme linalool, rose geranium, tea tree, Petitgrain, grapefruit, sandalwood, Vetiver, mints, basil, German chamomile, atlas Cedarwood, rosewood, Palma Rosa, thyme, Cajeput, Niaouli, Yarrow Hydrosol. Dry Acne:
Petitgrain, lavender, spike lavender, clary, rose geranium Use an Astringent:
Grapefruit, yarrow, rosemary, lime distilled. Rid Yourself of Unwanted Black Heads:
Coriander, thymus vulgaris, peppermint, lemongrass Combination Skin:
Geranium, Rosewood, Ylang-ylang, Rose Geranium Hydrosol, Neroli Hydrosol For Treatment of Chapped/Cracked Skin:
Myrrh, patchouli, sandalwood, Vetiver, Cajeput, roman & German chamo, lavender
Calendula infused oil. Dry Skin:
Carrot seed, Cedarwood, clary, jasmine, geranium, lavender, orange, Palma Rosa, rose, roman chamo, rosewood, neroli, Petitgrain, Mandarine petitgrain, Vetiver, sandalwood, ylangylang, carrot seed, lavender, rose or neroli hydrosol, Calendula infused oil. Dull Skin:
Eucalyptus globulous, myrtle, neroli, basil juniper, lemon, lemongrass, Niaouli, peppermint, pine, orange, oregano, rosemary, spearmint, geranium, grapefruit Eczema:
German Chamomile, Helichrysum, Lavender, Bergamot, Carrot Seed, Atlas Cedarwood, Roman Chamomile, Juniper, Myrrh, Palma Rosa, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Teatree, Yarrow, Ylangylang.
Calendula infused oil, Karanja or Neem oil. Vericose Veins:
Lemon, Helichrysum, cypress, rose, lavender, parsley, roman & German chamomiles, geranium, calendula infused oil, Helichrysum or neroli hydrosols.
Skin That Needs Hydration:
Palma Rosa, sweet orange, Mandarine, tangerine, rose, most hydrosols, esp. Neroli Skin Infections:
German chamo, Manuka, eucalyptus, lavender, myrrh, roman chamo, rosemary, spikenard, tea tree, thyme linalool, calendula, Palma Rosa, Niaouli, laurel, myrtle, rosewood Skin Inflammation:

Jasmine, heli, lavender, peppermint, roman chamo, Lavender or Witch Hazel hydrosol Enlarged Pores:
Myrtle, lemongrass, rose, Cedarwood Premature Wrinkles:
